Medex and Christ: A success story that began 20 years ago
Medex is a Slovenia-based family company which has been passionately connected to bees for almost 70 years. As pioneers of apitherapy, they create innovative nutraceuticals based on bee products. Driven by increasing demand and a strategic vision for production expansion, Medex went in search of a film wrapper packaging machine. Since they were highly satisfied with their still perfectly running Skinetta/Christ film wrapper from 2003, they turned again to Christ Packing Systems. The Skinetta/Christ film wrapper had already demonstrated its reliability since 20 years, prompting Medex to look no further.

The choice quickly fell on a FilmTeq 3030 film wrapper, which was tailored to Medex's needs. The machine bundles and stacks incoming folding boxes, and applies an extra-wide film banderole with lateral shrinking. With the capability to handle 8 different formats on one machine, they can flexibly react to changing market demands.
A standout feature of the FilmTeq 3030 is its swift format changeover, which takes just 5-10 minutes, depending on formats. This seamless transition minimizes operational downtime and maximizes productivity.
